This was made as a university group project. The original game was made with Unity. After careful consideration, the project was moved to Unreal Engine 5, which means there are two versions of the game. The Unreal Engine version is downloadable and is the preferred version, while the Unity version is playable in a browser as a WebGL.
Overview
The goal of Aperios Polemos is a Roguelite game with Souls-like combat, where you must scale the Mountain of Olympus while fighting enemies as a character with telekinetic abilities, receiving upgrades as you progress through your run. This would also have permanent upgrades which you can unlock from doing certain things in the attempts at completing the game. As well as this you could buy items which can be used in your run, create fun builds and talk with NPCs. The order of the rooms you traverse through would be randomly generated, allowing for unique exploration in each run.
